About The Super Intelligence News

An independent publication covering the race to superintelligence and AGI: the labs, the models, the safety record, the compute, and who is in charge.

What we cover

The Super Intelligence News reports on the race to build intelligence beyond human level: the frontier labs and what they ship, how capability is measured, safety and alignment, compute and energy, the governments and the money behind it, and the public argument about whether and how it should happen. We cover it globally, in American English, from primary sources, with living tracker pages that are updated on every event rather than rewritten as new articles.

Every article aims to answer four questions: what happened, why it matters, what evidence supports it, and what is still uncertain.

What we are, and what we are not

We are an independent publication. We are not an AI lab, a vendor, a research institution, or an official representative of any company we cover. We take no money from the companies we write about except through clearly labelled advertising. Nothing we publish is legal, security or investment advice.

How we label our reporting

Articles based on information supplied by a company carry a visible "Based on company claims" label. Articles where we have checked the underlying evidence ourselves carry an "Independently verified" label. Paid content is always marked "Sponsored". Our Editorial Standards page explains this in full.

Ownership

The Super Intelligence News is founded, owned, and operated by Yash Malviya. It is an independent publication with no parent company, and it is not owned by, funded by, or affiliated with any brand, company, or organization it covers. If that ever changes, for example if the publication incorporates or takes on outside investment, we will update this page to say so.
